Novel Reading and Writing Workshop - Grade 2 (110)

Students in grades 2-7 will be reading and analyzing a selected novel recommended by the ELA teachers for their incoming grade. This class will focus on improving reading comprehension skills and practice evaluating the plot, themes, characters, and vocabulary of the book.  Writing will be incorporated into the Novel Reading and Writing class as students create literary responses to their novel reading. Accelerated Reader quizzes will be provided for incoming 3rd and 4th grade students in order to get a jumpstart on their AR goal! Please note that the novels will be provided for students enrolled in this class.
